Adopt Arctic!
Arctic is a 11-month-old Chihuahua/Cairn Terrier mix with striking black and white fur and the softest little face you’ll ever meet. He came from a hoarding situation, so the world is still a bit overwhelming for him — but underneath that nervous exterior is a gentle, sensitive young pup who just needs time, patience, and love.

Once he feels safe, Arctic’s personality begins to peek through. He’s curious, observant, and quietly takes in everything around him. With a calm home and a kindhearted adopter who will let him go at his own pace, Arctic has all the potential to blossom into a loyal companion.

He’s never had the chance to experience what a real home feels like… but he’s ready to try.

A Wags 2 Wishes Adoption Specialist will contact you by email for any information that needs clarification. Check spam folder!

Meet the Pet

Schedule a meet and greet with the adoptive dog and your family at our rescue center in Plainfield.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If all approve, sign contracts and pay adoption fee Adoption Fees are: $200.00-$500.00 (subject to change without notice)

Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue's mission is to rescue abused, abandoned and forgotten animals in Illinois and surrounding states that are facing euthanasia and provide a loving and secure atmosphere for the animals transition in our foster home based program. The animals are given time to transition from lives of hardship and become cherished members of their foster family and eventually their forever home.
