Macaroni is a precious small dog mix with a heart full of love and a personality made for companionship. His estimated birthday is 4.1.2020. Small in size but huge on affection, Macaroni’s greatest joy is being close to his people. Macaroni is fully grown (at about 13lbs), house-trained, and easy to manage. He enjoys nice long walks (20–35 minutes when the weather allows!) and is wonderfully well-mannered on leash, responding to cues like “leave it” and “wait.” He also knows several commands and tricks, including sit, stay, go to bed, and even an adorable “play dead.” When he’s not out walking, he’s perfectly content cuddling, chewing on a soft toy, or enjoying a calm play session.
Social and sweet, Macaroni does well with men and women and is very patient with kids and even babies. He’s friendly with strangers too — he happily accepts compliments on his stylish coats and outfits before continuing his walk. He loves other dogs, especially bigger ones, and has lived happily with canine siblings in the past. He enjoys playing, cuddling, and walking alongside his doggy friends and is very polite around food and treats.
Macaroni is happiest in a loving home where his affectionate nature is appreciated. In multi-person households or homes with another dog, he spreads his love around beautifully. In quieter homes, he tends to bond deeply with his person — offering endless devotion, companionship, and comfort. (If he had a job, he’d be a therapist — he’s that good at it.)
A few things to know: Macaroni would do best in a home without cats, as they’re a little too tempting to chase. Otherwise, he’s a well-rounded, gentle soul who free-roams nicely, isn’t destructive, and enjoys being picked up and carried.
