My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Apricot 🍑🐾
3 years old • Female • Mountain Cur

Apricot is a sweet, loyal, and affectionate Mountain Cur who’s looking for a calm, loving home. At 3 years old, she’s full of personality—but she needs a more relaxed lifestyle because she’s heartworm positive and beginning treatment under our care. Adopting a dog with heartworm isn’t as daunting as it might sound—our team will cover treatment and support you every step of the way!

Why Apricot is special:

Sweet, affectionate, and loyal

Calm and ready for a relaxed lifestyle

Perfect for a family who can provide love, patience, and gentle care during her treatment

Good to know:
🐾 We can dog-test and cat-test Apricot upon request—just ask!
🏷️ If an attribute tag isn’t listed, it doesn’t mean she doesn’t have that trait—it just means we haven’t seen or confirmed it yet.

Apricot is looking for a home that can match her calm personality, provide plenty of love, and help her through treatment so she can thrive and enjoy life to the fullest. 💕
