My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Eugene — Your Smart, Snuggly, All-Around Good Boy!

Eugene is a 14–15 week old border collie mix who is bursting with love, brains, and puppy charm. This sweet boy adores kids, dogs, and his toy collection, and he’s happiest when he’s playing, learning, or snuggling close to his people.

Eugene is super smart and food-motivated, which makes him an absolute joy to train! He’s already working on sit and down, doing great with crate training and house training, and building wonderful foundation skills like gentle mouth, impulse control, early “leave it,” and polite asking (manding). Such a good student!

Active + Snuggly = Perfect Balance
Eugene is an energetic puppy who would love an active family, a playful doggy sibling, or even a fun “job” to do — but he also knows how to settle himself down after playtime. He’s just as happy romping in the snow , chewing on a favorite toy , or curling up for cuddles on the couch or floor.

He has a natural fetch, already comes when called (inside AND outside!), and is learning to walk nicely on a harness and leash. At night, Eugene sleeps peacefully in his crate and is potty pad trained, while also learning to go to the door when he needs to go out. Such a good boy!

Eugene is available for adoption in the Lower Merion area today!

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
