My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuma here — reporting for fun, cuddles, and adventure! 🐾☀️

I’m a tan-and-white little guy with a bright personality and a heart that’s always ready to roll. Just like my name suggests, I’m all about good vibes, playful energy, and going with the flow. Whether it’s zooming around with my toys, soaking up attention from my people, or settling in for some well-earned snuggles, I’m happy wherever the fun is.

I’ve got that classic puppy charm — curious, sweet, and eager to learn as I grow. I’m still figuring out the world one paw at a time, but I promise to bring smiles, laughs, and a whole lot of love wherever I land.

If you’re looking for a sunny little sidekick who’s ready to ride the wave into forever, I might just be your guy. 🌊💛

Apply online — or stop by the Humane Society Tuesday–Saturday from 10 AM–5 PM to meet him! 🐶💙

More about this shelter

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home. We value every animal equally and consider all to be priceless
Please visit our website, www.ahumanesociety.org for more information.
