My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Everest is ready to *climb* straight into your heart! 💙

Just like his Paw Patrol namesake, Everest is adventurous, brave, and always up for the next challenge — even if that challenge is figuring out toys or mastering the art of cuddling. He’s a happy, playful little guy with a gentle side and a curious spirit that keeps him exploring the world one paw at a time.

Everest has that classic puppy mix of fun and affection. He loves playtime, enjoys attention from his people, and is learning new things as he grows. With love, patience, and guidance, he’ll grow into a loyal companion who’s always ready to reach new heights with his family.

If you’re looking for a pup who will stick by your side through every adventure, Everest is ready to lead the way. ❄️🐕

**Apply online — or stop by the Humane Society Tuesday–Saturday from 10 AM–5 PM to meet him!** 🐶✨

More about this shelter

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home. We value every animal equally and consider all to be priceless
Please visit our website, www.ahumanesociety.org for more information.
