My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Meowy is a sweet but shy girl that loves to take her time to explore. She would do great with another cat playmate - especially one that's on the calmer side. She loves chin scratches and to play with her wand toy. Churros are her favorite treats! If you're looking for a long lasting love, Meowy is the right girl! With a dedicated pet parent, she will thrive.

My foster writes: Meowy Dearest is a shy but curious sweetheart who loves enrichment toys and relaxing on her cat tree. She takes her time warming up, but once she does, she'll quietly hang out nearby and make herself right at home. This cute little void needs someone who's patient, but the bond is worth the wait.

Meet Meowy Dearest!

Pulled from a hoarding situation and understandably overwhelmed, Meowy Dearest arrived wary but watchful. With calm voices and a gentle approach, she'll tolerate brief petting and is starting to relax on her perch. She's an independent, curious girl who'll do best with a patient person willing to let trust grow at her pace.

My Ideal Home

An experienced, low-traffic home that understands shy cats. Start her in a quiet "decompression" room with hiding spots and vertical perches; keep interactions short and choice-based, and pair your presence with tasty treats. Coming from a hoarding environment, predictable routines will help her feel safe and blossom over time.

Good with Kids?

Best with adults only or older, cat-savvy teens who can move slowly and respect her boundaries.

Good with Other Pets?

History with pets is unknown. A very calm resident cat may help model confidence if introductions are extra slow, but she could also thrive as a solo cat while she settles in.

Other Fun Facts

Her confidence shows in small wins-softening eyes, staying near while you tidy her space, and brief cheek pets before she takes a break. If you love earning a shy cat's trust, Meowy Dearest is ready for her second act.
