Meet Bruno who will be 3 on Valentine's day. Bruno weighs in at just under 60 lbs, has the most beautiful blue eyes and is 50% cuddler & 50% party play pal. His coat is a gorgeous soft red merle and white. We believe he's a mix of Husky/border collie with perhaps a bit of Aussie thrown in.
Bruno had a rough start. He was kept in complete isolation for his first 10 months. When he came into foster care he was a bit feral, no training with either humans or other dogs and overcome with anxiety.
He's since, had professional training and has settled into family life with his other fosters and 2 little girls. He currently lives with those 2 little females, foster puppies who have come and gone, a cat and 3 parrots.
Bruno still is on high alert when outside, after being in solitary confinement during his puppy development years, but continues to improve. When inside he's a calm, cuddly happy guy that just wants to be with his person.
Bruno has bitten when a fence collapsed and he was running free. Most recently he bit a stranger that entered his yard.
Bruno needs an experienced handler who will keep up with teaching Bruno acceptable behavior and understand that he is a different dog inside (sweet and cuddly), and outside (anxiety/high alert).
