My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey is a 1yr old Rottweiler mix who was adopted from the Carson shelter . She loves all people and large dogs. She is so smart and is learning basic commands with ease. She is great in her kennel. She has learned to walk on a leash and would be great with someone who wanted to walk or jog a few miles a day- which we have been doing and she loves it. She has so much potential to be the best dog, but unfortunately is not a good fit for our home.

We are hoping to rehome Honey to a home that is better suited for her. We adopted her in hopes that she would be a good companion for our small dog (who has lived with other large dogs in the past), but sadly Honey is not a good fit. She has a prey drive that makes it unsafe for her and my other dog to actually spend time together. She is only reactive to cats and other small animals- although she can be redirected, we cannot put our other dog at risk. My other dog is too passive, Honey would do well wifh a large dog or more assertive dog.
