My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Peanut! 🐩💛

Peanut is an adorable 2-year-8-month-old mini Poodle weighing 12 pounds, with a sweet, loving personality and plenty of charm packed into his little body. This handsome boy is affectionate, playful, and ready to bond with a family who can meet his special needs.

Peanut will need regular grooming for life to keep his coat healthy and happy. He also has food allergies and requires a novel protein diet for life, so he’s looking for adopters who are prepared to provide consistent care and attention to his health.

💛🐾 Peanut is ready to find his forever family—a loving, patient home that can keep him healthy, happy, and pampered every single day. Bring this sweet Poodle home and enjoy a lifetime of cuddles and companionship! ✨

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
