Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Brady!
A loyal, lovable, and over-the-top handsome five-year-old American Bully currently in Sparks, NV, whose calm blue coat with white accents is just as striking as his soulful eyes and quiet strength.
Brady’s life so far has been nothing short of a journey, one that's shaped him into a deeply devoted companion who's now ready to write his next chapter with the right person by his side. He’s been living in a trainer’s home, soaking up extensive professional obedience training with impressive results! Brady knows all the essentials like sit, crate up, place, heel, and drop, and he's happiest when working his brilliant mind through food puzzles, scattering games, or a good ol’ game of plush-ball chase.
He’s ridiculously smart, athletic, and incredibly eager to please, thriving on both mental and physical engagement. Yet beneath his confident exterior, Brady has a deeply affectionate heart, he absolutely loves to snuggle and melt into his person’s side when the day winds down. His favorite toys include a flirt pole, a plush ball on a rope, and a jolly ball, though he's a bit of a toy demolition expert, so supervision is a must during playtime!
Brady is both crate-trained and place-trained (with tether) and has no crate anxiety whatsoever. He thrives in a structured routine that blends play, training, and calm downtime. While he’s made great strides with neutral dog proximity walks, Brady's trainer recommends he be the only dog in the household. He also does best in a calm, adult-only environment with no small children, where he can feel safe, understood, and set up for success.
Now, Brady's looking for a pet parent who understands that consistency is kindness. He has a high prey drive and needs thoughtful management around other animals, especially dogs and cats, but with firm, ongoing reinforcement and clear boundaries, he can maintain neutrality. He’s shown he can share space with cats indoors when appropriately guided.
His ideal match? A committed adult or solo caregiver with a fenced yard and a heart for structure. Someone willing to continue his progress with his trainer or follow a consistent plan to support his growth. Brady doesn't just need a home, he needs someone who sees the brilliant, loving, and devoted companion beneath the surface and is ready to welcome a true best friend.
Could your home be the calm and consistent environment Brady has been waiting for?
If you’re interested in providing Brady with a loving home, please email meetme@joyfulpets.com for more information about adopting him. Please note that Brady is currently in foster care through one of our trusted rescue partners and will remain with his foster family until the right match is found. Because rescue-partner pets are managed directly by their respective organizations, their adoption process, requirements, and fees may differ from Joyful Pets’ direct rehoming program. Our team will be happy to connect you with the rescue and help guide you through their process to ensure everything goes smoothly.
