My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hunny is a 3-year-old French Bulldog mix whose journey is nothing short of remarkable. She came to us after surviving a life-threatening electrocution injury to her mouth, an emergency that would have broken most. But Hunny faced it all with quiet strength, endless sweetness, and a spark that refused to dim.

Today, Hunny is fully healed and thriving. She has completed a professional Board and Train program with our friends at Connected Canine and continues to shine as she builds on everything she has learned. She is eager, bright, and so proud to show off her skills. Nothing slows this girl down. She is loving life, and it shows in everything she does.

Hunny is playful, wildly entertaining, and full of personality. She will make you laugh with her yard zoomies, silly faces, and pure joy over the simplest things. She is a true testament to resilience and just as tender and affectionate as she is goofy.

Spayed, fully vetted, professionally trained, and microchipped, Hunny is ready to find the forever home she so deeply deserves. She will thrive with someone who appreciates her fun-loving spirit and is excited to continue building on the strong foundation she already has.

If you are looking for a dog who is smart, strong, hilarious, and absolutely bursting with love, Hunny might just be your perfect match. Submit an adoption application at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications to meet this extraordinary little survivor. We cannot wait to introduce you.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees vary between $165-$350. That includes all medical vetting, UTD vaccines, spay/neuter, lifetime microchip, an escape proof harness lead and collar & tag. Also, since some our dogs are such a huge flight risk, there may be additional steps needing to happen before the adoption is completed.

More about this rescue

We are a small group of passionate animal advocates that specialize in the humane capture and rescue of stray, fearful and injured animals from the streets of Maricopa County. We also assist pet owners as well as other rescue groups to recover their lost animals. We provide our dogs with a safe place to decompress, learn to trust and receive medical treatment until they are ready to find a forever home. The dogs that we take in are typically more difficult to place due to being fearful and high flight risks. Our animals require special adopters who are patient, diligent and very precautionary in order to keep our "trap dogs" safe. These animals are our passion and we will always do what is best for every animal that crosses our path.
