My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Florence 💕

Florence is a petite and lovable 2-year-old Dachshund mix weighing just 18 pounds. This sweet mama did an amazing job raising her puppies, and now it’s finally her turn to be someone’s baby.

Florence is house trained, people-loving, and happiest when she’s soaking up attention from her humans. She has a gentle, affectionate nature and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal little sidekick. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch or following you around the house, Florence is ready to settle into a forever home where she can be spoiled the way she deserves.

If you’re looking for a sweet, loving dog with a heart of gold, Florence might be your perfect match. 🐾💗

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
