My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Kevin Barkon! ❤️

Kevin Barkon is a 10-month-old male Jack Russell Terrier who is discovering just how wonderful the good life can be. After spending much of his early life outdoors, Kevin is now learning the joys of being inside with a loving family—and he’s taking to it beautifully.

This sweet boy’s favorite things include cuddling under cozy blankets, snuggling up with his favorite bone and his humans to watch TV, and happily squeaking his toys during playtime. Kevin absolutely adores children and would make a fun, affectionate companion for a family.

Kevin is doing well with house training and settles easily in a crate when needed. He can live with other dogs with slow, proper introductions, but he would also thrive as the one-and-only where he can soak up all the attention. Due to his high prey drive, Kevin is looking for a home without cats.

Neutered and up to date on all vaccinations, Kevin is ready to find his forever home—one filled with love, comfort, and plenty of snuggles. If you’re searching for a loyal, cuddly little companion with a big heart, Kevin Barkon may be the perfect match for you.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.

Applications are the first step in the adoption processPlease do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.

 Thank you!

Additional adoption info

Filling out an application is the first step. An online application is located on Haven to Home's homepage. Application, references, home visit and adoption fee are required to adopt one of our dogs. Due to the severe overpopulation of dogs in this country Haven to Home believes that responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered. Therefore it is our policy not to adopt our dogs to people who do not have their current animals spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason. Adoption fees are listed on our website.
