Torvie is an adorable 4 month old lady who is a little shy at first but warms up once she gets to know you! This little lady has big paws so we think she is going to grow up to be a big girl! She needs help learning her puppy basics, but she`s a smart cookie who we think will pick things up fast! Besides puppy basics, Torvie needs a seasoned New Englander to show her the ropes this winter as this is her first time in New England! She recently came up with some pals from a rescue in Louisiana. If you think you could be the one for you, stop by our Dedham shelter to meet her!

Torvie is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.

Situated 10 miles southwest of Boston on the beautiful grounds of the former summer sanctuary for the city’s working horses, ARL’s newly remodeled shelter in Dedham, Massachusetts is just a glimpse into ARL’s bold future. The new modern shelter design allows us to provide even more animals with high-quality direct animal care that meets best-practice standards in animal welfare.
The 27-acre property serves as ARL’s main livestock center and is home to Pine Ridge Pet Cemetery, the oldest continuously operated pet cemetery by a humane society in the United States.
