My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet little Arnold!

He just arrived in Colorado 12/17 and is living in a foster home in Aurora with three other dogs

*CAT, DOG, & CHICKEN FRIENDLY!*

Sweet boy, arrived matted, neglected, and from a hoarding situation to the shelter in NM. He is ready to go from rags to riches after living in deplorable conditions in a hoarding situation. He is shy with a gentle and dainty soul. He is friendly and able to be handled. He allowed the medical team to help with grooming and has been good with other dogs.

Hoarding dogs are usually a bit shy and benefit from another dog in the home.

Once he settles in we will have more details on him.
He is neutered already, up to date on vaccines, and getting a dental cleaning before arriving in Colorado.

More about this rescue

LET'S SAVE SOME DOGS

We are a small Colorado based Dog Rescue team, dedicated to providing a loving and caring environment for our rescues, while also working to break the cycle of owner surrenders.

POSO is working tirelessly to ensure that each dog receives the attention, medical care, and love they deserve. We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without a rescue dog), providing free training for our foster families and our adoptive families. We are doing more than just rescuing dogs, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.

Our origin story is rooted in our passion for animals and our goal to make a positive change in both the lives of a dog and their human to break the pattern and ensure less dogs are returned to shelters. With over 15,000 Dog Rescue organizations in the United States and over 1.5 billion websites out there, we believe our story, our mission and our approach sets us apart. POSO is a Dog Rescue doing more than rescuing dogs.
