My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

If happiness  had a face, it would be Jack's quirky grin!   This awesome boy is looking for his forever home. Jack came from one of our partner rescues in Louisiana and is now in a NJ foster home.

Meet Jack-sunshine in canine form! At 2.5 years old and 35 pounds this happy boy is fully grown and perfect. He's little kid approved, dog friendly, housebroken, leash savvy, and always flashing his goofy grin.  He does NOT however, like cats.  He thinks they are aliens and will try to save his family from them at all costs.

If you have been waiting for the best boy in the world... well, here he is.  Who's ready to scoop up Jack?

Jack is fixed and up to date on shots and is currently going through his heartworm treatment, he is available to come to NJ in January. His  adoption fee is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

Additional adoption info

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
