This 2–3-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, weighing in at a perfect 10 lbs, is as loving as she is charming.
Momma Mochi is a lap-loving snuggle expert who adores being close to her people. She’s fully potty trained and potty-pad trained, making her an easy addition to any home. While she can be a bit slow to warm up to other dogs, once she feels comfortable, she forms genuine friendships and enjoys their company.
Food is the fastest way to her heart—she is highly food-motivated and will happily show off her most adorable trick: a tiny “meerkat sit” that will absolutely melt you. Add in her frequent tongue-out blep moments, and it’s impossible not to fall in love 😛

Our team will work on your application. Once approved, the foster parent will contact you for a meet and greet.

The foster will reach out to set up a meet and greet.

Take the Pet Home
If everyone agrees that the adoption is a good fit, you will sign our contract, pay their adoption fee and the dog can go home!

Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.

As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.
Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.
