Picked up as a stray, Dakota waited patiently at the shelter for someone to come looking for him. No one did. What did happen, though, was every single staff member falling in love with him.
Dakota is super sweet, calm, and affectionate—the kind of dog that leans in for pets and makes you feel like everything is going to be okay. He has the classic Great Pyrenees temperament: gentle, loyal, and thoughtful, with a big heart to match his big frame.
Despite being in a stressful shelter environment, Dakota showed nothing but kindness. He was easy to handle, friendly with people, and genuinely adored by the staff who cared for him. That tells us a lot about the kind of dog he is.
