I’m a friendly, super sweet couch potato who loves deeply and enjoys a calm, relaxed life. I was owner surrendered through no fault of my own, and I’m now looking for a new family to call my forever.
I’m dog friendly and love being around other pups; with my gentle, affectionate nature, I’d likely do very well with kids too. I’m potty trained and leash trained, so I’m easy to live with and ready to settle right in. I’m also a purebred boy with papers, if that matters to you.
If you’re looking for 77 pounds of love, loyalty, and laidback companionship, I’d love the chance to meet you and show you just how special I am.
I am currently located in Texas but am available for adoption in multiple states across the country. My out of state adoption fee is $850. This fee helps cover the cost of care while I was at the shelter AND the cost of transporting me home! This includes:
spay/neuter, if unaltered upon intake.
age-appropriate vaccinations during time in care.
a registered microchip if unchipped upon intake.
a heartworm test if over six months of age.
current flea/tick prevention during time in care.
3(+) broad spectrum deworming treatment.
any medical expenses while in care.
a health certificate for travel.
the cost of travel (drivers, gas, and vehicle maintenance if via our route, or up to $200 in crate rental fees if on another transporter’s route!)
Every adoption through the SPCA of Brazoria County also come with a PetSmart adoption kit, and some coupons for PetCo!

Additional adoption info
Step one: Complete the application. It is best to include as much information/detail as possible.
Step two: Schedule a call to discuss the LDA process. At the end of the call, you will receive a recap via email, as well as our long distance adoption contract. If you choose to move forward with the adoption, sign and return the contract!
Step three: Post for transportation options (this is all me!)
Step four: Process payment and finalize the adoption via a link texted to you the day of departure—I prefer to do this right before pups actually leave for two reasons: 1) the adoption fee is a lot of money to have dangling out there without a set arrival date and, 2) finalizing an animal's adoption processes them out of our system, which means we are unable to track vaccinations and medication.
