Meet Saheri (#32197)! 🐾

Saheri is a very sweet and affectionate boy who is ready to start his next chapter with a loving family. He came to the shelter through no fault of his own after his owner had to surrender him due to working too much. Saheri grew up on a large property alongside other dogs and has always enjoyed canine companionship.

Here at the shelter, Saheri has done wonderfully in play groups and continues to show that he’s a friendly, social pup. He can be a bit sensitive when touched around his face, but he remains tolerant and gentle. One thing that truly shines is his bond with his brother, Huskador. The two share a special connection, and while it’s not required, Saheri would absolutely love the chance to go to a new home with his brother by his side.

With his loving nature and easygoing personality, Saheri would do well in just about any home setting. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion—and maybe even a bonded pair—Saheri would love to meet you! 💙

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

Pay Fee

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
