My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Tucker — A Sweet, Energetic Heeler Mix Ready to Learn 🐾
Tucker is a 3-year-old Heeler mix who came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed. He can be a little shy at first, but with a few minutes to warm up, he’s happy to come say hello.

Once comfortable, Tucker’s friendly nature and high energy shine. He’s treat-motivated, knows how to sit, and is eager to learn, though he’s still working on his manners and can get overly excited for treats. Consistent training will help this smart boy reach his full potential.

Tucker plays well with dogs his own size in both small and large groups. He’s a high-energy, vocal player, but only appropriate play has been observed. Due to his excitement level and strong interest in a smaller dog, we recommend a home without small children and with an adopter who can help guide his energy positively.

Overall, Tucker is a sweet, energetic dog who will thrive with structure, patience, and time to settle in. If you’re looking for an active, loyal companion, Tucker may be a great match. 💙
