Meet Noel, a young poodle with a tender heart and a deep desire to belong. She came to the shelter as a stray, matted and clearly distressed. Noel is an extremely affectionate dog who thrives when she can be involved in daily life with her people and share plenty of physical touch. Noel would love to cuddle and be noticed.
Noel would do best in a home where someone is around more often than not. We have noticed when left alone, even briefly, she cries/barks loudly, because she wants to be near her people and engaged. She is loving, eager, and happiest when she’s by your side. Noel seems to be suffering from separation anxiety. If there are to be kids in her home they should be older/respectful. We have no history of Noel living with cats.
This young, energetic girl enjoys walks and will need regular professional grooming to keep her poodle coat healthy and comfortable. Her future family should also be prepared to continue working on housetraining. Noel may be able to live with another dog, though she has no known history of doing so and would need a thoughtful introduction.
