My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There is no shortage of interesting dental issues here at Muttville, but beige chihuahua Stew has one in a million. Although his underbite is slight, Stew has made the stylistic choice to have two lower fangs just peek out on either side of his snoot. You’d be surprised how much character that can bring to a dog’s face – Stew was a bit of a showstopper to begin with, but his terrific teeth really draw the eye. Stew has charisma for days, shamelessly soliciting cuddles from the Muttville volunteers, and he’s very treat-motivated – he’ll do anything for a Scooby snack. If you’re looking for something cozy and chunky to keep you warm this winter, try a heaping bowl of Stew!

Here's some notes from his foster:

It’s been less than 48 hours since we’ve had sweet Stew, and he’s already adjusted so well.

He’s a loving boy who is completely housebroken. He’s both food- and praise-motivated. He makes no noise. He’ll happily sleep all day, but he’ll happily go on a long walk with you.

Go meet their pets

If you know who you're interested in, fill out our questionnaire at muttville.org/how_to_adopt and we'll arrange a meeting either at our HQ or virtually with your mutt's foster parent. (Many of our lucky mutts live in foster homes!)

If you're still browsing, stop by our extraordinary new home at 750 Florida St. during open hours Tuesday through Sunday 11am-4pm, or come to an adoption event and meet a lot of dogs at once!
