Timon's Story
PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog.
Meet precious little Timon, 11 pounds and about 1.5 years old. Housebroken, not terribly fond of the crate and a cuddler extradinaire. An owner surrender who thought her dog wouldn't get pregnant as the number of dogs in her house grew from 2 to 7. Timon may start off timid but given a little bit of time, he will become a delight to have around. Just learning how to "dog", play with toys (he was scared of the squeaker) so having a friendly small dog to play with will be ideal. Parents are Pom/bichon and Yorkie/poodle-he will need frequent grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.
Adoption Fee is $450. All of our dogs will be microchipped.
We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check or cash is preferred payment.

Upon adoption, contract is required, additional contract for puppies under 6 months not yet spayed (with deposit-proof of spay and neuter is tracked) and fee is $450 for over 6 months (already altered) or $475 for puppies.

We bring dogs to us from rural areas where there is a large stray population, spays are infrequently done and pounds and shelters are high kill when they fill up. Adoption rates are high in our area.
