My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marzi is a wonderful 9 lb, 3 year-old chihuahua mix whose owner tragically passed away. Her owner's roommate took her in temporarily while Marzi is looking for a new forever home.

Marzi is potty trained and has been doing very well with her leash training. Marzi is a little bit of nervous girl and is used to a quiet home. Once she knows someone, she is very affectionate and loyal and will stay right by your side! If you think Marzi is the dog for you, please fill out an adoption application or reach out to us at adopt@rocketdogrescue.org.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog! Whether you adopt from Rocket Dog or another rescue group, the fact is you will save a life. Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! The first step in our adoption process is completing an adoption questionnaire here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

From there, you will be contacted by a volunteer to talk more about what you're looking for and if the dog you're interested in might be a good fit.

Go meet their pets

Our dogs live both in foster homes and at the Rocket Dog Sanctuary in Oakland. The best way to arrange a meeting for a specific dog is to fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

We have adoption events every weekend throughout the Bay Area, which you can see here - https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/events/
