My name is Gill!

History: Gill is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon!

A Note from the Foster: Hi there! 🐾 I’m Gill… but my foster family calls me Gilbert (very fancy, I know). And yes—before you ask—I am this adorable all the time. I’m a 3-month-old mini poodle puppy, and I recently arrived at rescue with my brother. We’ve been busy being cute and learning how to be very good boys.

I love treats, which means I love learning! I’ve already figured out how to walk on a leash, climb up and down a small set of stairs all by myself, and I’m so close to mastering “sit” and “laydown.” I sleep like a champ in my crate all night, and I even take bonus naps in there sometimes—being a puppy is exhausting work.

My brother and I hang out in our exercise pen, where we entertain each other and solve puzzle toys (I’m basically a tiny genius). But don’t get me wrong—people are my favorite toys. I absolutely love playtime, cuddles, and being held. I go outside often for potty breaks, and I’m doing a great job learning where to go. When I do have an oopsie inside, it’s usually on a potty pad… but outside is quickly becoming my specialty!

I’m playful, curious, and always ready for my next adventure. Having another dog in my future home would be pawsome, but I’d also be perfectly happy being your one and only—as long as you promise plenty of playtime and snuggles. I’m a happy, social little pup who loves to see what’s going on, and I can’t wait for a family who’s excited to show me the world.
