My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beagle lovers beware, we have a chunky little brown and white dynamo named Seth who is prepared to steal your heart (and maybe your lunch)! While Muttville more commonly sees chi-tatos, Seth is a beag-tato for the ages, and, while a little overweight, we think he’s the perfect size for snuggles. What’s more comforting than a weighted blanked? Why, a weighted beagle, with the added bonus of a constant tail wag that cannot help but lift your spirits. Seth is a friendly guy who loves to say hello to every human or canine that he encounters, so be prepared to walk the equivalent of your neighborhood’s mayor as you stroll with this congenial little guy. Come meet Seth today – he’ll be the one greeting you!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Please submit an adoption questionnaire for the mutt(s) you are interested in. We will be in touch within 24 hours to connect!

2.

Meet the Pet

If you know who you're interested in, we'll arrange a meeting in person or virtually. If you're still browsing, come to an adoption event!

3.

Take the Pet Home

If you'd like to adopt we have a short finalization process and then you get to take your new dog home!

Additional adoption info

All of our senior mutts are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick/dewormer medication. Regular adoptions are typically $250, and there is no adoption fee for senior adopters and Hospice adoptions, though we love donations to help pay it forward for the next mutt!

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

If you know who you're interested in, fill out our questionnaire at muttville.org/how_to_adopt and we'll arrange a meeting either at our HQ or virtually with your mutt's foster parent. (Many of our lucky mutts live in foster homes!)

If you're still browsing, stop by our extraordinary new home at 750 Florida St. during open hours Tuesday through Sunday 11am-4pm, or come to an adoption event and meet a lot of dogs at once!
