*Fostered in Maple Valley, WA and ready for meet and greets!*
Meet Tamlin!
We cannot rave about Tamlin enough!
Where do we even start?!
Look how handsome this sweet boy is!
Tamlin is good looking, young, friendly, and would be the perfect addition to any family. He would make a fantastic hiking buddy and has been learning to walk well on a leash. He will require patience as he is still a puppy and has the tendency to pull. He is amazing at being walked on a front harness but is reluctant to walk on a collar.
Tamlin avoids confrontation at all costs, if he is corrected by a dog (male or female) he doesn't engage. He loves being out in the yard with all the dogs. He is a fast-paced guy, with an amazing kennel routine. He is so affectionate. He also enjoys a great cuddle session in the evenings so if Netflix and popcorn is your ideal way to end the night, he is your pal!
Tamlin is an absolute DREAM! He loves everyone he meets: men, women, kids, and dogs. He has met his foster's chickens and cat multiple times and did not focus on them much, however, understanding that GSD/pitties have a prey drive, we might steer clear of a home with feline friends. Tamlin would do well with a companion or as a single dog home.
Tamlin also secretly loves water - but if he catches you watching him in the water he will play like he hates it! This silly boy is easy going and FUN! He does great in the bath & with nail trims, and doesn’t resource guard.
Tamlin is learning basic commands and is following rules well. He did ask for a couple of requests when we started typing, he would like a home with plenty of chew toys, a nice fluffy bed, daily walks (maybe even twice if he can talk you into it), and you should expect everyone you run into to want to stop and tell you how handsome he is!
Tamlin is overall an obedient guy - He is definitely still a puppy and can be mischievous so he will need a strong household figure as he learns his role in your home. Someone to guide him and teach him how to be a household dog. Tamlin is crate trained - it is his favorite place to be! He is working hard on potty training and has it 95% down. He has learned to ring a bell in his foster home, however, you only have a few seconds to open the door before he has an accident. He can’t hold it very long! He will get better as he gets older!
Tamlin is around 6 months old and is 35 lbs of pure love. He is ready for everything that the PNW holds like beaches, scenery, camping, and more. This guy has it all and then some.
They say Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, but with Tamlin in your home, we think your home is the happiest.

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
