My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cheezit! 🧡🐾

Cheezit is an adorable little mystery mutt who’s about 3 months old and weighs around 11 pounds. We estimate she’ll be about 25 pounds full grown, making her the perfect small-to-medium sized companion!

Cheezit may be a tiny bit reserved at first, but don’t let that fool you — once she gets to know you and feels comfortable, she turns into the sweetest, most loving little girl. She’s the kind of pup who just needs a minute to warm up… and then she’ll steal your whole heart. 💛

Cute, gentle, and full of potential to blossom into a confident best friend, Cheezit is ready for a forever family who will give her love, patience, and plenty of snuggles.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
