My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nilla! 🐾💛

Nilla is miss photogenic — the adorable little leader of the pack and a total cutie patootie. She’s about 3 months old and weighs about 11 pounds, with the sweetest “mini Lab” look. We estimate she’ll be around 25–30 pounds full grown, making her the perfect small-to-medium sized adventure buddy!

Nilla loves to run, romp, and play with her siblings, and she’s always the first one ready for fun. She adores people, thrives on attention, and is happiest when she’s included in whatever you’re doing. She’s a pro at using the doggy door already. With her bright personality and joyful energy, she’s guaranteed to bring sunshine to your home every single day.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
