My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Baby Blue! 💙🐾

Baby Blue is a gorgeous 2-year-6-month-old Catahoula mix with the most stunning blue eyes you’ve ever seen. At 56 lbs, she’s a perfect medium-large sweetheart—big enough for cuddles, small enough to fit right into your life.

This lovely girl is a nice baby through and through. She’s sweet, gentle, and always ready to share affection with her people. Her warm personality shines the moment she feels safe and connected, and she loves being close to those she trusts.

Baby Blue has that classic Catahoula charm—smart, expressive, and wonderfully loyal. She would thrive with a family who will give her love, guidance, and room in their heart for a devoted companion.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, kindhearted dog with eyes that tell a story and a spirit full of love, Baby Blue is ready to be your best friend. 💙

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
