My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✨🐾 **Jasper** 🐾✨

Jasper is a young male Collie mix with a beautiful blend of intelligence, gentleness, and joyful curiosity. He has an easygoing, friendly personality and truly enjoys being around people, often staying close by to see what’s happening and to be part of the moment.

With his Collie heritage, Jasper is naturally observant and smart. He enjoys having a routine and does well when he has both physical activity and mental engagement built into his day. Walks, exploring the yard, learning new things, and interactive play are all right up his alley. After a day of activity, he’s just as happy to relax and enjoy quiet companionship.

Jasper forms strong bonds and thrives in a home where he can be included as part of the family. He would do best with adopters who enjoy spending time with their dog and are excited to continue helping a young dog grow in confidence and skills. His affectionate nature and steady demeanor make him a wonderful candidate for someone looking for a loyal, engaged companion.

If you’re searching for a smart, loving dog who will happily walk beside you through life — Jasper may be the perfect match.

**Apply online — or stop by the Humane Society Tuesday–Saturday from 10 AM–5 PM to meet Jasper!** 🐶💙

More about this shelter

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home. We value every animal equally and consider all to be priceless
Please visit our website, www.ahumanesociety.org for more information.
