My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

## 🎯🐶 Hi, I’m Elmer!

I’m **Elmer**, a proud member of the **Looney Tune litter**, and I may share a name with a famous cartoon character—but I promise I’m all heart and zero mischief (most of the time). I’m a sweet, playful boy with a lovable personality and a knack for making people smile.

I’m a happy puppy who enjoys people, playtime, and exploring the world around me. I like to toddle along after my humans, investigate new things, and then settle in for some cuddle time once I’ve worn myself out. I’m still learning all my puppy basics, but I’m eager, curious, and ready to grow into a great companion.

I’ve got that classic puppy charm: a little goofy, very affectionate, and always ready for my next adventure. With guidance, patience, and love, I’m going to turn into a loyal, wonderful dog.

If you’re looking for a puppy with **Looney Tune charm and a sweet, easygoing personality**, I might just be your Elmer. 🐾💙

More about this shelter

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home. We value every animal equally and consider all to be priceless
Please visit our website, www.ahumanesociety.org for more information.
