/meet Daisy 🌼 — the Chihuahua Mix with Reindeer Legs & a Whole Lot of Love
Daisy is a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix who was adopted from a local shelter as a tiny 3-month-old pup and has been deeply loved ever since. She’s tall for a Chihuahua (think mini reindeer 🦌), and her sweet personality makes her just as special as her looks.
Daisy is up for adoption through us after her loving mom made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome her — through no fault of Daisy’s own. This decision was made with Daisy’s best interest at heart, and she is ready to find a new forever family to love her just as much.
Like many Chihuahuas, Daisy can be shy when first meeting new people and may take a moment to warm up. Once she does, she’s an absolute sweetheart who forms strong bonds with her people. She prefers a calmer social circle and is not a fan of cats or larger dogs, but she does well with smaller dogs.
Daisy loves toys and treats, and she’s very particular about mealtime — she eats in her kennel with the door closed (a girl appreciates her routine!). She is spayed and has made great progress with leash walking; while it wasn’t her favorite thing at first, she’s now doing wonderfully with patience and consistency.
Daisy is a gentle, loyal little girl looking for a loving home where she can feel safe, secure, and cherished. With a little time and understanding, she’ll reward you with endless love and devotion.
