My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bandit spent 12 years as a much-loved companion. After his owner passed away, he was entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program. He is a very sweet, gentle boy who does well around other dogs and cats. Weighing 55 lbs., Bandit loves to be brushed and knows SIT and SHAKE. He is a gem!

Bandit went on a Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he is like in a home setting. His foster mom reports:

"We were supposed to bring Bandit back yesterday after our 2 week Frosted Fling, but he's been so good and so easy, we decided to extend for another 2 weeks! That means...you can be sweet Bandit's next Fling family (or Forever family ❤️) soon! He'll be back at Frosted Faces Feb 12. Time to start arranging your schedule to scoop up this sweetie!

🐾 Great on leash and LOVES to walk!
🐶 Gets along great with other dogs (including my 13 y/o who can sometimes be a little cranky!), doesn't react to other dogs on walks
🚽 Potty trained
😴 No separation anxiety, he goes to his bed and sleeps while we're gone
🚗 Loves car rides, quietly sleeps or looks out the window
🦴 Takes treats and meds super gently (on meds for arthritis)
🪮 Loves to be brushed and does need upkeep to prevent mats
🧸 Likes to play with toys and randomly gets bursts of energy and runs like a polar bear

Bandit needs help getting in and out of the car (he's 47 pounds) but will gladly let you help.

Bandit was anxious the first few days with us, but once he settled in, got used to our routine (he's super smart) and knew he was safe and loved, his anxiety has GREATLY reduced. He is SO sweet, cuddly and just loves LOVE!!"

Be sure to watch the adorable videos of Bandit playing, going for walks, and soaking up pets!
