Paris Dream does well on the leash overall and has shown herself to be non-reactive, even when passing the shelter cats along the trails.

Paris Dream recently enjoyed a Dogs Day Out with a volunteer, and she made an unforgettable impression. From the moment she was picked up, she was full of wiggles, kisses, and happy energy. She loved her car ride—sniffing the fresh air through a cracked window—then settling in comfortably on a blanket in the back seat. On walks, Paris Dream showed off her excellent leash manners and even impressed with her listening skills, calmly sitting and waiting when asked before crossing the street. She’s treat-motivated, knows how to sit and give a paw, and happily engages in playtime, bringing toys over to keep the fun going.
At home, Paris Dream truly shines as a companion. She’s a world-class snuggler who loves relaxing on the couch next to her person and stays politely by your side during meals without begging. She was a total Velcro dog, following her volunteer everywhere and soaking up every moment together.

When you arrive, you will first be asked to fill out our Shelter Adoption Application with your information. You may also pre-fill our Shelter Adoption Application ahead of time online to save time when you are at the shelter. Your application will be processed after you meet the animal.
Step 3: Tour our adoption rooms and write down the names of animals that you would like to meet. A volunteer or staff member will help you meet your chosen animals to make a match!
Step 4: When you have selected the right animal for you, our Adoptions Team will run your Adoption Application for approval. Once your application is approved, you will participate in an adoption class where you will learn all of the details about your new adopted family member, including their known history and medical records.
What else to expect: Animals who are already spayed/neutered and past their stray hold (if applicable) can often go home with you the same day. Pick-up arrangements for unaltered animals and/or animals still on a stray hold will be made during your adoption class.
