My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winnie is a lovely brown tabby with soft stripes, warm eyes, and a gentle, comforting presence. Hailing from Salinas, Winnie brings a calm, friendly energy that makes it easy to feel at home around this sweet cat.

Winnie enjoys the simple things cozy spots, quiet moments, and being near people. There’s an easygoing nature here, the kind that settles in quickly and makes everyday life feel a little cozier. Once comfortable, Winnie shows a tender, affectionate side and appreciates attention shared at a relaxed pace.

True to Salinas roots, Winnie is wholesome, grounded, and full of heart. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with classic tabby charm and a mellow, loving personality, Winnie may be the perfect addition to your home.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
