Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Dearie! 😍🐾 Dearie is absolutely beautiful in the most soft, soulful way. Her warm caramel coat glows in the sunlight, and her sweet, expressive eyes have a way of looking straight into your heart. There’s something so gentle and endearing about her face—she has that quiet, tender beauty that makes you want to scoop her up and promise her forever.
Dearie is a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix weighing about 25 lbs. She’s sweet, loving, and affectionate, with a calm, easygoing personality. She’s more on the low-energy side and is perfectly content relaxing by your side, though she does enjoy the occasional leisurely stroll. She’s happy just being near her person and can also entertain herself when needed.
She’s crate trained, housebroken, spayed, fully vaccinated, and truly ready to settle into a loving forever home where she can feel safe, cherished, and adored—just as she deserves 🤍
RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:

A potential adopter will submit an application. A vet reference is very helpful and will speed the adoption process along. Once approved, a phone interview will be conducted and the adopter will sign a contract. Transport will then be scheduled to bring the new pet home.
