That is the link to apply to adopt this great pup!
Bodhi is actually doing super well she was just recently spayed. She came into rescue in TX by literally coming up to the rescuer on her property! She is very friendly and sweet and shows she is good with dogs AND cats. Some people even want an ESA, she should be perfect for that and might even we don't she might even be able to be some sort of a minor service dog? We do not mean a dog for the blind, just saying she is that great of a dog!. A cerfified trainer should be able to evaluate her if someone requires a type of service dogs. She seems to be well trained on the leash. She didn't try walking out in front or wandering. We didn't have any luck with her pooping and peeing on the leash but that's trainable.(just means for now she might only potty off leash in an enclosed space). This is super common with TX dogs many have to ‘learn’ to potty on leash. She is VERY sweet, happy, and loving. So super sweet and well mannered. A really gentle soul. She had absolutely no interest in my cats and all dogs are wonderful!
If she is not pre adopted she will go to WA state to a foster Jan 9th. GREAT dog!
This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period."
If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060.

More about this rescue
We used to call ourselves Shayne's Rescue as we used to rescue dogs. Now, we are Shayne's Fosters as we foster TX rescue pups & dogs.. We assist several TX rescuers where shelters kill 80-99% of what comes in besides the millions and millions of strays on the streets. Hence, we foster for TX rescues who do impeccable jobs of vetting, quarantine all of their pups/dogs and send up the best dogs we have ever met. All have a health certificate prior to transport (vet visit). We work super hard volunteering and we can always use more assistance from volunteers!
FYI there are rescues/shelters who get in dogs from TX as we do. We send funds back to Texas. We do not get donations (perhaps a few hundred/year) yet we spend over $ 20,000 or more every year of our own personal funds saving lives as does Pet Central Rescue aka Terry Wheeler, as much as we help Terry still spends that much of her own personal funds/year. Many rescues only take in dogs from out of state when those shelter volunteers and/or rescues sending them personally pay for transport, health certificates and medical expenses. Unlike nearly any shelters or rescues in WA that we know of, we send our funds BACK to the shelter volunteers and rescues in TX that we assist who are working diligently to save as many lives as possible. Hence, we are not demanding that they incur all costs, quite the contrary.
Please do apply. We have so many dogs and puppies available.
This application we always see, for our long term partner Pet Central SATX Rescue.
