Meet Shaggy Rogers!
This sweet 6-year-old Maltese mix is a total heart-stealer with his soft white coat, soulful eyes, and gentle spirit. Shaggy is everything you could want in a companion — fully potty trained, calm, snuggly, and perfectly content to spend his days lounging by your side or napping in a cozy spot. At about 16 pounds, he’s the ideal size for sofa cuddles and lap time. This adorable boy could probably stand to lose a few pounds, right now he's got just a touch of extra fluff to love!
Shaggy has impeccable manners — he walks nicely on leash, is crate trained, and does just fine when left alone (he’ll likely just curl up for a nap). He’s friendly with men, women, and kids of all ages, and he’s also great with other small dogs. While playdates give him a fun little spark, he’s also happy as an only dog — he’s all about peaceful companionship.
Shaggy’s low-key personality makes him a perfect match for a relaxed household — singles, adults, or seniors who prefer quiet days and cozy evenings. He plays quietly with toys and loves to be your cuddle buddy and calm companion.
Shaggy came to us a bit matted and with a mild, treatable skin infection, so he’s on the mend and just starting to show his sweet personality as he heals. His adopter will need to be patient as his hair grows back and he regains his full fluff — but his loving eyes and gentle nature already shine through. He’s also been recently shaved, so expect an adorable transformation once his coat returns!

Meet the Pet
Our pets are located in foster homes. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster family.
Home Check
The foster family will do a brief home visit to ensure that it's a perfect match between family & pet!
Pay Fee
Adoption fees range from $50 - $150 for cats and $150 - $300 for dogs. Specials and discounts may apply.
