Monte is an almost 5yr old terrier mix. He spent the last 4yrs with a family on a small farm. This 20 pound boy loves to run around with other friendly dogs, and man is he fast! He prefers to zoom around the yard rather than play fetch. He is good with other dogs, cats, poultry, and kids! However he is looking for a home where he doesn't have to compete for attention, and there are no kids or very mature kids. He is great on walks (no pulling!), loves car rides, and does good in stores. He has been off leash trained, although as his new owner you would need to build up a relationship with him first. He does become a barker once he settles in, but he may not if he is in a home with no other dogs. He has some energy but is mostly a calm guy who just wants to snuggle by you! He's crate trained and prefers that when left alone. He is also potty trained but has some potty anxiety; he likes to take his time and doesnt like to be watched lol. The $300 adoption fee covers his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test negetive, hw and flea/tick preventatives, deworming and microchip with registration.
