Oberon, also known as Obi is an energetic 8-month-old male Chihuahua, who like most puppies is very playful and loves to run around with his foster sibling. Obie recently weighed in at 13 puppy pounds.
Obie has shown to not have any negative feelings towards cats. other dogs, young humans, and both of the human genders. Face it, Obie is a lover.
Obi has been given a clean bill of health. Up to date on all vaccinations and is neutered.
Being an energetic puppy, he loves to play with his older and larger foster brother. He shares laps and sofas to jump on and off while playing.
Obi is young and still learning all about housebreaking, but he is learning the skill and will surely master it very fast, as smart as he is. He shows great potential for as young as he is, he is learning some commands, like coming to you when you call his name. When not running off his puppy energy, he is a laid back cuddler.
Also being a puppy who has shown that he can get along with being with other dogs in the home, he also could be an only dog for someone who could spend the time with him. He does show separation anxiety, therefore is kept in a crate or kennel when left alone. He does do well in the kennel for hours when needed. Even so, he is super happy when his human comes back home and lets him out to go right outside.
Obi does growl slightly when eating and the other dog comes close. Nothing menacing. Just a reminder that when it is food time, it is not play time.
