My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This cutie is Braeburn Apple. Sweet, just like his name!

He is currently 6 months old. One of his siblings got DNA tested and here are the (super fun and crazy!) results:

26% Siberian husky
13% Boston terrier
11% great pyranees
8% chow chow
5% American pitbull terrier!

What matters most is that he is adorable and is in one of the MOST desperate states in the entire US based on statistics. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place.

Watch Braeburn's playful personality here:
https://youtu.be/r3N-ab__uYo?si=k3T9maKooDmx6FrC

Braeburn is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork!

Braeburn is a quiet observer with the cutest pair of stand-up ears that twitch with every sound. He’s happiest rolling around with his siblings and exploring the world at his own pace. His calm nature and sweet expression make him a joy to be around. He loves treats so make sure you have them on hand! He would love a home that has a nice big yard to run in. He loves being outside and enjoys all seasons of weather. He loves to hang out outside, so if you like to sit by the pool and tan, or you like to sit outside and enjoy the breeze, This guy was made for you!

He enjoys going on walks and showing off his good leash manners. Hikes would be super fun for him! He enjoys riding around town and running errands, so if you need a buddy to ride shotgun, he’s your guy. He loves to snuggle up on the couch or on a nice soft bed with all his toys. Make sure you’ve got a basket of toys waiting for him, because he loves a good plush toy! Maybe even a trip to the pet store so he can pick out his own. He is such a cutie!

He is currently fostered in a loving home with children and other dogs including a Great Dane and bulldog mix who he loves to play with! He is currently working on potty training, kennel training and house training. He is a star! He is a very smart boy and will make for a fun family pup to train together. He loves playing with the kids and the other dogs! He really loves to make friends! You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Apply now so you don’t regret passing him up!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.

It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:
