My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miriam Dom! Miriam Dom is a truly special girl with a heart as big as her smile. This sweet Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd mix may be a tripod, but don’t let that fool you—she doesn’t let having three legs slow her down one bit! She’s confident, capable, and ready to enjoy life right alongside her people.

Miriam Dom is incredibly affectionate and thrives on human connection. Her former foster describes her as a total lovebug who wants lots and lots of attention—so much so that she’ll happily follow you from room to room (yes, even to the bathroom!). One of her favorite things in the world is showing off her belly and soaking up endless belly rubs.

She’s a very good girl in the home and can be trusted to free-roam, making her an easy and delightful companion. Miriam Dom is both crate trained and house-trained, and she settles in beautifully. She does well with other dogs but needs a cat-free home. Because she can be sensitive to loud or rowdy environments, an adult-only home would be ideal so she can feel safe, secure, and relaxed. She is looking for a home that respects her boundaries, and is patient. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate shadow who will adore you endlessly and fill your home with love, Miriam Dom might just be your perfect match!
