Lulu is a 13-week-old female shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a bright future ahead. She’s a happy, healthy puppy who is thriving in her foster home alongside doggy playmates of all ages and sizes. Lulu can be a little timid when she first meets new people, but give her a moment and she blossoms into the sweetest, most loving girl. She’s very smart and eager to learn—she’s already mastered the doggy door and is well on her way with potty training. With her loving personality and growing confidence, Lulu would be a joy for just about any family. She’s ready to learn, play, and grow into an amazing lifelong companion!

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!
The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.
Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Animal Friends Alliance is a non-profit, adoption guarantee cat and dog shelter and low-cost spay/neuter clinic.
Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.
Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
