My name is Alexa!

Hi, Im Alexa! Im a playful, affectionate dog who loves spending time with my humans and other animals. I get along with dogs of all sizes and love making friends. Playtime is my favorite, nothing excites me more than chasing a tennis ball or showing off my zoomies in the backyard.<br/><br/>Im a great mix of energetic and chill. I enjoy running around on a cool day, but I also love perching on the sofa like a cat or snoozing with a soft snore people say sounds like an old man. Im crate trained, house-broken, and potty trained, I even alert by ringing a potty bell. Im cuddly, curious, and friendly with new people, and Ive done well with kids under 10. Loud fireworks make me nervous, so Ill happily settle in my crate with a squeaky toy, but elevators still scare me and make me shake.<br/><br/>Im a little quirky too. My forehead wrinkles into a big uni-brow when I sniff, and I sometimes come back inside with muddy paws and a big tongue-out smile. I love attention and will gladly come over for pets. I know my basics like sit, down, stay, place, crate, touch, and Ill patiently wait at mealtime. <br/><br/>All I want is a family who loves playtime, understands my quirks, and maybe has another dog for me to hang out with.
