This helps Island Dog Rescue with pet care costs.
Sunny was rescued 12/19 from a busy deserted road in Puerto Rico where this social girl had clearly been dumped. She stayed there for days waiting for her person to come back for her. Our rescuer saw her while driving to work and stopped to feed her. Once our rescue agreed to help adopt her out, Sunny’s rescuer took her in and quickly got her vetted and spayed. We will wait for her to heal and get her 2nd round of vaccines and then Sunny will be available to fly to the States to be adopted into a loving home. This good girl is 6-8 months old, 22 lbs, and 4dx negative. Adoption fee is $395. Her rescuer says; Sunny is a very noble, loving and calm dog. With God's help I know she will get a forever loving and caring home. The street was no place for her.

One of our adoption coordinators will reach out to you to discuss what type of dog would best fit your needs and family.
Meet the Pet
Once approved, you will be connected with the animals foster to schedule an in-person meet and greet.
Take the Pet Home
After the meet and greet, if the animal is a good fit, a trial adoption will be scheduled where you bring the animal home for a trial period
Sign Adoption Contract
if after the trial period you wish to adopt the animal, you will complete our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
Pay Fee
Most adoption fees are $395 for dogs.
