Yoda is a 1½-year-old, 16 pound, Terrier/Shih Tzu mix with a big personality packed into a petite little body. With his wispy “wild child” ears and that mischievous sparkle in his eyes, this boy is equal parts charm, fun, and heart.
Originally found as a stray, Yoda is now thriving in rescue and ready for a forever home that can match his enthusiasm for life. He’s an energetic, joyful pup who loves staying active—whether that means long walks, fetch sessions, hiking, or tagging along for shopping and patio dining. He’d also adore having a friendly dog buddy to wrestle with and learn from, as well as a fenced yard for zoomies and sunbathing breaks.
Yoda is young, playful, and full of zest, so he’ll do best with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is ready to keep up with him. He meets other dogs nicely, big and small. He can be shy when meeting new humans, but once he trusts you, he’s all in with affection and loyalty.
He’s not the right match for someone seeking a calm, low-maintenance companion—this little guy thrives with regular activity and engagement. Families with older, respectful kids are a great fit, and he prefers a cat-free home.
