My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Torie – A Beautiful Young Girl Ready for Her Fresh Start 💙

Torie is about 1.5 years old and full of life, love, and possibility. Despite a rough beginning, she has shown incredible strength—after being abandoned, Torie bravely raised a litter of puppies and now it’s her turn to be cared for.

She’s a young, energetic girl who is ready to blossom in a home of her own with love, guidance, and training. Torie truly enjoys being with her people and forms sweet connections, while also doing well with other dogs. She’s the kind of companion who wants to be part of the action and will thrive with a family excited to help her learn and grow.

We’re not quite sure what her breed mix is, but one thing is certain—Torie is a stunning girl with unforgettable baby-blue eyes and a heart just as beautiful. With consistency, patience, and affection, she has all the potential to become an amazing lifelong companion.

If you’re looking for a young dog ready to start her next chapter surrounded by love, Torie may be the one for you.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.

More about this rescue

United Animal Friends (UAF) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit group founded in 2003. Our mission is to provide rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets. Our Spay/Neuter Certificate Program, Community Pet Food Bank and Emergency Medical Program help hundreds of people and pets each year.
